It seems the mind has a far greater capacity for creativity and a deeper sense of spiritual connection when you’re not continually exposing it to external stimuli. Stillness and presence allow ideas to arise naturally and intuitively. -as if by “magic”. If you feel overwhelmed or can’t think straight, try not listening to any music or watching anything on a screen. See where your mind takes you, it might surprise you what comes up….
Another week off social media…not missing the algorithms! Results include more face-to-face conversations, good old fashioned phone call catch-ups (so much better to hear someone’s real voice) and my undivided attention given to new creative work/exploring new opportunities. So good to lessen social media’s death grip over my life!
